The turn of the year is typically a time when people make resolutions for the forthcoming year.
To get fit.
To eat a healthier diet.
To give up xyz habit.
I’ve been pondering this for a few weeks now, wondering what resolution I might come up with for me.
And last night I started wondering: why do I need to change? Am I not good enough as I am?
As human beings we adapt and naturally change over time anyway. Over the past 8 months me and my husband have made more changes to our lives than ever before from raising our little boy. And to him, we are already enough.
So perhaps instead of changing something about me, I just need to change my perspective of me. To accept that actually, me as I am now, really is enough.
