Hi lovely people! π
There is nothing quite like the comfort of a warm fire on a dark winter’s night. It’s a place to gather, to unwind, and to find a moment of peace. I wanted to capture the warm, cosy feeling of a glowing fireplace in my latest knitting design. I am so thrilled to finally share with you the Hearth Cowl!

This stranded colourwork cowl features a graphic modern flame motif that was a joy to design. For me the process of knitting a cowl is relaxing and meditative, but I wanted something that would challenge my skill of carrying longer floats at the back. The Hearth Cowl is exactly that and it is perfect for a beginner colourwork knitter to push their skills to the next level.
Key Features:
- Engaging: The pattern uses a simple, repeating chart that is perfect for beginner stranded knitters looking to practice longer floats.
- Versatile Styling – Designed to fit comfortably around the neck, it pairs equally well with casual sweaters or dressy coats
- Hand Dyed Perfection – Choose a gorgeous hand dyed yarn for the main colour and pair it with a black solid to really show of the talent of your favourite hand dyers!
