I hummed and hahed over releasing this one early, but decided to do something different and offer an early bird special price! Read on…
I am pleased to announce that my latest pattern has now been published.
Estelle’s Cardigan
You can get it here on Ravelry or here on Gumroad.
A dear friend of mine asked me to create a simple long sleeved cardigan for her to knit.
I recently published the preemie sizes, and have now published the first of the larger baby sizes – newborn.
The cardigan is a top-down raglan sleeve garment. The collar is cast on and starts immediately. Next increases are worked to shape the front, back, and sleeves.
The sleeves stitches are then placed on stitch holders, and the front and back are joined and worked straight, including the hem. The sleeve stitches are then picked up and worked in the round. The button band is worked as you go.
Materials
~ Any standard DK weight yarn (the newborn size used approx. 170m)
~ 4.00mm Circular or Straight Knitting Needles
~ 4.00mm DPNs
~ 5 Buttons 10-12mm in diameter
~ 4 Stitch Markers
~ Darning Needle
~ Scissors
Difficulty: Beginner/ Intermediate
Skills Used:
~ Knit & Purl
~ Basic Increases & Decreases

~ Knitting in the Round (sleeves only)
Early Bird Special! Right now only the newborn size is complete. Additional sizes up to 2 years old are coming. For those who purchase now you get a special low price. The additional sizes will be added to the pattern files when they are ready, at no extra cost to you. But as new sizes are added, the price for new buyers will increase.
And here is the Ravelry pattern link again for you. There is also a link to the same pattern on Gumroad for those who struggle with the new visual look of Ravelry.
Best wishes, Sam xox
