I am pleased to announce that the test knit request for my next pattern release – Simon’s Jumper – has now been sent out.

I’ve always wanted to knit my own Christmas jumper. Yet every year I’ve been too distracted by other knitting projects to do so.

But when my little boy’s first Christmas was in sight I was determined to create one for him.

The beginnings of Simon’s Jumper in size 6-9 months using Cascade 220.

This is a simple classic jumper design. Worked from the top-down, it utilises the raglan shaping to create a short button band. Enough to gently ease a baby’s head through and then secure after.

Without the duplicate stitch patterning, this is a jumper that knits up quickly. Perfect for a last minute baby gift. With the duplicate stitch patterning the design possibilities are endless and easily allow for personalisation for an extra special baby gift.
