Sometimes a stitch pattern completely captures your heart, and you just have to give it a project of its own. That is exactly how Stevie’s Blanket came to be! It is a direct spin-off from another design I was working on; I fell so deeply in love with the rhythmic “Branch Lace” motif that I knew it needed to be showcased in a cozy, textured blanket.

About the Design
Stevie’s Blanket blends the organic, flowing lines of the Branch Lace motif with clean, geometric textured blocks. The result is a gorgeous, tactile fabric that feels both traditional and modern. Knitted in a comforting, structured yarn like Drops Lima, it offers a lovely weight and substance—making it the ultimate cozy layer for a nursery or a beautiful heirloom piece for a growing family.
This design is named after the daughter of an amazing friend who gets the original to cuddle up in.
